The Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA) of Panama has awarded a contract to SPADAC to develop and implement an enterprise solution for spatial data management in partnership with Google Earth™ through its Latin American reseller Gtt NetCorp Latin America. Building upon its patented EarthWhere® technology, SPADAC will support Gtt NetCorp as it implements spatial data management policies and principles throughout the MIDA enterprise. The objective of the system will be to provide MIDA with a means to organize internal geospatial data, discover departmental holdings of geospatial data and distribute geospatial data inter-agency wide within the country and internationally.
